Replacement Insulator Gasket that goes in between the carb insulator and the manifold on 2 barrel carbs. For those that aren't familiar with these parts, on a stock carburetor, there is a
that raises the carb off the intake manifold to reduce temps of incoming air / fuel. This gasket sits between the manifold and the insulator plate.
is this the stainless steel gasket that goes between the manifold and the plastic gasket?
The carb to manifold gasket is a fibrous material gasket that goes between the carburetor and the manifold. The only metal gasket used is the intake manifold with valley pan gasket, and that goes between the block / cylinder heads and the intake manifold.
