The Auburn ECTED is an electrically operated positraction / locker combination. When the unit is disengaged, it is a cone/clutch operated limited slip. With the push of a button the unit engages for full lockup to provide full power to both tires. This unit comes with all associated parts and hardware for operation.
- ECTED is the only selectable locker that offers both limited slip and locker mode
- ECTED is quiet – say good-bye to noisy lockers
- ECTED gearing is made from aircraft quality, 9310 heat-treated billet steel to make it as tough as nails
- ECTED can be switched on or off at any road speed
- ECTED does not have any shift forks or pins that must be lined up to obtain locker mode.
