Fuel Level Sending Unit 1986-1991 Grand Wagoneer
Replacement In-Tank Fuel Level Sending Unit. Includes o-ring and filter sock.
1986-1991 Models have a metal cover riveted to the floorboard under the rear seat, driver side under the carpet. You can grind / drill or remove with a chisel, and then pull the cover off. Once you do, you'll be staring directly at the sending unit on the tank.
Replaces OEM Part Numbers 53006586 / J53006586
**Note** All sending units may require adjustment during installation in order to dial in the exact reading. This means you may have to slightly bend the float arm up or down in order to get the perfect reading. Because of this, we do recommend dropping the gas tank and adjusting before final installation.
