Default Vacuum Probs-need some help please.

Goodmorning, my first post I just signed up. Generally I would read everything I could first before opening my mouth but I have some trouble and am at a loss. Ok so shes a 91 G Wag, with amc 360. I have an edelbrock manifold and demon carb on her. Everything was fine and dandy then one day the cruise control quit working...at the time I didnt know I didnt have heat ducts and 4 wd working either...I found out later when I tried to use the heat and lock in the 4x4 in the snow. So those 3 things are out....now I figured the plastic resevoirs were old and leaky...so I replaced them both. No go on anything..I went through all the hoses up top and took a look at the 4x4 switch on the dash and it all looks ok...I dont know why that stuff wont work but I dont seem to have any vacuum. I'm at a loss on where to go from here...any help would be appreciated. Thanks alot!

How does the motor run? Does it sound or act like it has a vacuum leak?

Well it runs a bit rough till it warm. The demon has extra vacumm ports but their all capped and it worked before. Theres a hole rusted in the exaust manifold so you can hear lots of engine noises but its been that way for years...(sad to say that) I was planning a complete restoration once my vette is finished. Just a quick rundown of what it lookls like...a hose with vacumn runs from the manifold to a splitter. It then runs to the first ball on the firewall and off to the other ball on the drivers side fender well. The fenderwell one is attached to the transfer case "switch a roo thing" Out of the firewall comes the smaller hose from the switch on dash...its attached to the smaller port of the ball on the firewall. There are also 2 lines the same colors as the other 2 dash switch lines coming out of the firewall to a bracket on the engine. They then seem to lead down....dont know where they go I havent followed them down. Thats it....theres at least 2 capped lines on the demon...and everything else has been removed at one time by somebody...oh yeah and theres nothing on the distributor either....theres a port on it for a line but nothing hooked up...but again it worked before. Hope that clearly explains what I have. thanks. Cary
