Questions and Answers
This manual covers body, chassis, mechanical and electrical. It has sections on suspension, driveline/axle, brakes, engine, transmission, accessories, etc. This book includes wiring diagrams. Published by the factory to provide information on diagnosis, service procedures, adjustments and specifications. There is no better service manual than this one. It is loaded with diagrams and illustrations to show you how to disassemble, repair and reassemble the various components and frequently gives troubleshooting information.
Q:
curious how this differs or if it's the same as a Haynes service manual?

A:
Our Factory Service Manuals are the same ones that the dealership service centers used and they show each and every aspect of these Jeeps in full detail. Want to know how to rebuilt your transfer case with full diagrams and specs? This has it. Want to know how to troubleshoot engine issues? This has it. Our manuals have anywhere from 400 to 1,300 pages and include sections on every components of the Full Size Jeep, including wiring diagrams. Haynes manuals are only useful for wiping your hands on after you've used a Factory Service Manual to repair your Jeep.

Q:
I have a 1971 Jeep wagoneer with the 360 engine so do i get the 1971 service manual or the 1972 as i need the wiring diagrams for the engine bay specifically? Chuck

A:
if you have an engine from the later model, then its possible your rig is a later year production that uses the following year's parts. In that case, i'd go with the later version.
