Questions and Answers
IT'S HERE!! BJ's Off-Road is proud to be the first company to offer a complete all-spring lift kit made specifically for the 1963-1973 Wagoneers! No longer do you have to sit by and watch the later-model rigs get all the attention! Give your rig the look it should have had from the factory!
This kit uses 4 new leaf springs (no blocks) to acquire the 4-inch lift, and includes new spring eye bushings! This will bolt on using simple hand tools. Nylon pads are installed between leaves for a softer ride.
NOTE: This kit will no longer include U-Bolts. Here are the specs but you must confirm with your rig as we won't be held responsible if they don't fit:

Excellent
I bought this lift a couple years ago. There were delays in the manufacturing at the subcontractor so it took longer than advertised. However, the kit is excellent. Fits perfectly, and rides very smooth, like a Cadillac. The included overload leafs for rear add about 3/4 inch to the rear height versus the front. When fully loaded up it will sit about level. I didn't like the look so I took the overloads out and haven't had any problems. I combined this kit with my own spring mounts for rear axle and spring over for front axle and increased total lift height to 9 inches. I fit 33x12.5 tires now with only very minor rubbing at max compression.

Q:
Does this kit stiffen the ride over a stock suspension?
Asked by:
hemsingd
- 11/9/2015
A:
All lift kits are going to be more stiff than stock height springs that are worn in. But ours are considerably softer than other companies springs. Once installed and properly broken in, they will provide a nice truck-like ride.

Q:
Is this item really back? I thought you lost your supplier. Also, My Waggy is a '68 with a factory PTO Ramsey winch and bumper. Very heavy. would you expect this to effect the ride much?
Asked by:

A:
We are currently redesigning these kits, and they should be ready around spring of 2018.

Q:
Does this lift work for 1074 Cherokees? I don't see a listing for 74 on your other lifts...
Asked by:
John
- 12/12/2016
A:
No, unfortunately due to the variations in suspensions on the 1974-1975 models, there aren't any pre-packaged lift kits that will fit. The only option is to have custom springs made.
