Made by Deaver Spring here in the USA, this is perfect for someone who wants to put their Full-Size Jeep at the height the factory should have come with! These have been designed to lift your vehicle while still offering a very comfortable ride. The front springs have 9 leaves, and the rear has 6 leaves with two overloads. Stock shocks and brakelines will not work with this kit. Nylon pads are installed between leaves for a softer ride.
**Note: 4-5" of lift to be expected upon installation.

This kit indicates that it works up to an 83 Wagoneer, then the years for the GRAND Wagoneer start at 84. Does this 4" lift work on an 83 Grand Wagoneer? Thanks.

There is no such thing as a 1983 Grand Wagoneer. They were Wagoneers up until 1984 when the Grand Wagoneer was first named.

The BDS is available to ship immediately and has a lifetime warranty on the springs. The BJ's kits are made to order (currently backordered as of today) and only have a 1 year warranty on the springs. The BDS kits are also have cheaper shipping.

Who is the spring source? I have a 1977 Jeep J20. Will these fit? Also looking for a softer ride (it's 4x4 so don't expect a creampuff) so considering J10 springs instead.

Our Springs are made in the USA by Alcan, and they are a comfortable riding spring. Yes, they will fit your 1977 J20.

A:
1974-1975 aren't supported as they were 'test years' through Jeep, where they were trying to find a way to standardize the suspensions across all platforms. That resulted in 30+ possible combinations of mounting style, springs, bushings, etc., and we have no way to guarantee one of our kits will fit. The only option is a custom suspension.

No, these springs are based on the Grand Wagoneer springs and will not reduce your tow capacity. No, you don't need to relocate the shackles with our kits.

We offer track bar relocation brackets if you wish to retain the track bar. Or, you can remove and discard them if you don't want to keep them.

Most people keep their stock bumpstops, but if you want to limit axle travel you can always go with longer units.

The older kit is backordered and we're redesigning it with Deaver Spring company, just like we did on the later models. The pricing will be adjusted accordingly when they are ready again.
