This new Comp Cams cam, lifter, spring and timing complete kit includes the camshaft, lifters, upgraded valve springs, retainers, locks, valve stem seals, assembly lube and timing set (double non-roller). **Note** Stock valve springs CANNOT be used with this camshaft.
Specifications:
Advertised duration: 268 intake/268 exhaust
Duration at .050 in. cam lift: 218 intake/218 exhaust
Gross valve lift: .456 in. intake/.456 in. exhaust
Lobe separation: 110 degrees
Basic rpm range: 1,500 to 5,500
Good low end torque. Broad powerband. Excellent for towing or performance. Slightly rough idle.
Recommended compression ratio: 8:1 to 9.5:1

What is the basic difference between the 260, 268 and 270 Cam/Cam Lifter sets? I am rebuilding a 360 and want minor performance increase, but no major performance modification. Thanks

A:
Based on that, go with the 260, it's a great cam for slight performance gains. The 268 & 270 are for more aggressive upgrades.

A:
**Note** Stock valve springs CANNOT be used with this camshaft. We always recommend buying a pushrod checking tool (around $15-20) and double checking your length though.
