BJ's Off-Road new crossover steering kit. This kit includes a new Reid passenger side steering knuckle, ball joints for the new knuckle and a complete drag link (from pitman arm to new knuckle).

Q: I see in the picture hat this kit is for a 6x5.5 bolt pattern. Are there any for an 8x6.5 bolt pattern? This is on my HD dana 44.

A: The holes in the knuckle are where the spindle bolts on to the knuckle, and that is not the bolt pattern for the wheels. The 6 lug and 8 lug both used the same knuckle, and this kit fits both styles. It is the hub that has the lug studs and determines the pattern. So yes, this will fit your 8-lug Dana 44, just the same as it will fit a 6-lug Dana 44!

Q: why doesn't the kit have a right and a left steering knuckle. ?

A: Because Crossover only needs the passenger knuckle. In a Crossover Kit, you are raising the tie rod from the pitman arm to the passenger side (drag link) to be above the leaf spring, which necessitates a high-steer style passenger knuckle. But the tie rod that goes from the passenger side to the driver side stays below the springs in a Crossover application, so the driver knuckle can remain stock. If however, you wish to go full high steer, then we can provide you with the driver knuckle and arm as well (you'd have to modify the tie rod that goes from driver to passenger side).

A: Yes, that is the same as stock and that is how they come.
