Questions and Answers
Brand new Hydroboost master cylinder. These units are new, NOT rebuilt. Rest assured that your braking system will function as it was designed to when you replace your old master cylinder with one of our new units. These are ONLY for use with our Hydroboost Conversions, and are not compatible with vacuum boosters.
Q:
Does this require a residual valve to be installed for the rear drum brakes?
Asked by:
Jeff

A:
No, you shouldn't need that unless you are changing from a single-pot master cylinder.

Q:
Is this a step bore or a quick take up master cylinder? How should this be plumbed? Front port to front brakes, rear port to rear brakes?
Asked by:
John Barrett
- 10/18/2020
A:
We don't use stepped / quick style as they aren't necessary. The larger fluid reservoir is for the front brakes, and the smaller is the rear.
