*Note: we recommend installing this kit shortly after being received, as the molded areas will relax over time (ie: do not let it sit for extended periods prior to installation).

Quality Product

Vinyl is thick and durable, it does take a while for it to relax and settle into position. I recommend a heat gun to allow the material to become more pliable to form correctly. It does require some trimming, but do not cut anything until it is fully relaxed and formed to the floor.

Q: Will this vinyl cover my 1987 J 10 Truck? Does it have the holes cut already and is there an insulation attached?

A: Yes, it will fit any J-series pickup truck from 1963-1988, including the Gladiator, J10, J20, J200, J300, J2000, J3000, J4000, J4500, etc. Regarding insulation, the vinyl floor kits act as their own insulation and padding, and as such, do not come with extra padding. You can always add hushmat underneath it:

A: Yes, but it is a thick vinyl flooring that is molded to the shape of the floor (ie: this isn't like a removable rubber mat)

Q: What is the difference in the mats for the 1973 and older trucks? Do they have any logos or are they just plain vinyl throughout?

A: There are several differences on the older trucks, most notably the shape.

A: No, these are a thicker more heavy duty molded replacement.

A: No, it does not have the Jeep logo on it and is not precut to accommodate your shifter and levers. You would need to cut it yourself.
