Questions and Answers
Full length bed sides for all J-trucks. Bed sides are 8 feet long and will accommodate short and long box trucks (short box trucks would trim to fit). These bedsides are seamless so the common rust spots shouldn't ever rust again!!
These can now be shipped via truck freight to a residence or a business, and are expensive to ship due to their size. Note: It is the same price to ship two panels as it is to ship just one.
**Note: 1963-1973 long-bed models will require modifications to panel in order to fit. The front of this panel is shorter than the original long-bed during those years, and will place the wheel well in a different spot.
**Free Shipping includes heavy duty crating to better protect the panels, lift gate, residential surcharge, and excessive length charges due to the size of the panels and crate.
**Note: Sometimes these are in stock, other times they can take 4-8 weeks to ship. Contact us for current eta if needed.

Q:
I'm new to body work, are these replacement panels or skins that fit over the existing panel?
Asked by:
chris b

A:
These are new panels that replace what you currently have. You will cut off the existing panels and weld these in their place.

Q:
Are this bed side molded to fit and easy to put on?
Asked by:
Justin keeth
- 7/10/2016
A:
yes, they are molded like the originals. Easy is a relative term, but they aren't very complicated. You will need to use a spot-weld remover tool to drill out the original spot welds, and remove the original panel. Then, you will weld this new bed side in place of the original. We do recommend welding on bracing between the inner bed sides to keep alignment correct before removing the original bed side.

Q:
How much would it be to ship 2 bedsides left & right for j-truck? address 6988 hwy. 11 sunset, sc 29685?
Asked by:
Pam
- 9/7/2016
A:
Shipping on a single bedside, a pair of bedsides, or a pair of bedsides with a pair of bedfloors will be $266.71 to that zip code. Since they drop ship from our supplier, and have to go truck freight, the cost is the same for 1 panel as it is for all 4 panels. Note that you can also get shipping estimates on the webstore by adding the item to your cart, click on View Cart, and then enter your state and zip code at the bottom.

Q:
Will these fit a 1971 Jeep 3x military pickup ? If so do you know where I can find bed and tailgate for my restoration ?? Thanks & you come highly recommended by Eric @ Northridge 4x4 !
Asked by:
Mike M
- 6/1/2016
A:
These will fit all the regular townside / fleetside style J-trucks, with few exceptions. If yours is an M715, then these bedsides will not fit. You can also email us this question along with pictures of your truck and we can then confirm fitment.

Q:
Will the driver side have a hole/square precut for the fuel filler neck? Or does that have to be cut by whoever buys/installs it? Thanks!
Asked by:
Matt

A:
Those have to be cut by the installer, as there were many variations over the years with regards to placement.
