This Katzkin Seat Heater kit makes those cold mornings much more bearable. This kit includes trimmable seat heater pads for the bottom and back of a seat, wiring and a switch.

Q: Does the switch support hi/low or strictly on/off?

Q: the button has three positions, neutral, green light and red light. what do the colors mean?

A: The three-way toggles have green(low) and red(hi) LEDs as temperature indicators.

Q: On a 2016 Jeep wrangler there is a long seam going from the front to the back of the seat bottom and the seat back. Can the heater element be cut to allow the Velcro to attach or will it disable that part of the heating element? On a 2016 Jeep wrangler where is the best place to pick up power for the seat heater. I see a fuse for a seat heater 20 Amp but don't see where the wire terminates? What is the black tape looking material for. Is it just tape of a conductor?

A: These heater kits are not able to be cut as that will ruin them. For power, you simply need a 12v fused source that has power only with the key in the on position.

A: The manufacturer is Katzkin, and the warranty is 1 year against manufacturing defects (same as all of our products, unless noted otherwise).

Q: Will this kit do an entire bench seat for a J20?

A: One kit is required for each seated position. If you have bucket seats, you'd want one for the driver seat, one for the passenger seat, and 2 more if doing the rear bench seat. In pickups with bench seats, you'd want 2 kits (one for driver side and one for passenger side).
