A: These are made to be a tight fit, and you may have better luck putting the other end in (just make sure your oil fill cap will fit the other end before installing). A: These are typically a press fit. You put the tube in the freezer overnight, and in the morning warm up the engine (keep the opening covered to avoid oil spray). Shut off the engine, and wipe the opening with some brake cleaner spray on a lint-free rag. Then grab the tube from the freezer, and with the engine still warm, sit it in place.
