Questions and Answers
Remanufactured, NOT rebuilt. And yes there is a difference, a big difference. Unlike many of the products out there, S&J engines are not simply taken apart and rebuilt. They are painstakingly inspected, piece by piece, element by element and each component is given new life. And rather than expect yesterday's equipment to keep up with today's tougher engine tolerances, S&J uses the latest in engine technology, tools, and expertise to transform your engine. S&J continually upgrades its equipment and training to ensure the engines we produce today are equal to or better than the original. When you purchase your engine from S&J Engines you receive the highest quality remanufactured engine available from the most committed engine supplier in existence. When it is possible to do it better, they will.
In order to activate your engine warranty, S&J Engines, Inc. must receive a completed Warranty Form within sixty (60) days of receipt of purchase. Failure to complete the verification process renders your warranty null and void. To view warranty requirements and conditions, click

**Note: sometimes we have engines that are already built / ready to ship that are painted grey. If the color you select is different, we will include a can of paint in the color you select.
Image is for illustrative purposes only, and may vary from actual engine.
**Note: occasionally we have cores in stock, but it is not guaranteed (Contact Us when you are ready to order to confirm if we have a core in stock or not). If we are out of cores, we can have your engine picked up and remanufactured (no additional cost, and it waives the core charge).

Q:
are you able to pull the motor off your truck with a standard engine lift? This will help determine whether or not to spend the extra $150 on having it being delivered w a mechanical lift gate. Thanks!
Asked by:
DJ
- 6/20/2019
A:
No, they are on top of a pallet and then crated, and there is no way to connect an engine hoist to it. You either have to have a forklift, or a commercial 48" tall loading dock with 18-wheeler access, otherwise you'll need to use the liftgate option.
