Roof rack grommet set. Stainless Steel Screws have the proper head size and are now 1/4-inch longer for ease of installation!
Q:
I bought these for my 85 GW and the holes in my roof are much wider than the rubber grommets. Do you have any suggestions on how to get the grommets to fit tight enough to make the roof rack bolt on correctly?

A:
If your holes are much wider, then you'll need to have someone inside the rig with the headliner down, holding the grommets in place while you tighten the screws. This will cause the rubber base to flare out and will seal the openings.

These are made to fit the SJ model of Full Size Jeep. If yours is a 1988 Wagoneer, that would make it an XJ model. While its possible they may fit, we've never tested them on an XJ to be able to confirm.
