Roof Rack Heavy Duty Support Brackets! These brackets mount on the underside of the roof above the headliner, and provide much better support for the stock roof rack. This kit eliminates the factory grommets, and replaces them with brackets and welded nuts.

In stock form, you can pull on the roof rack, and after a few tugs, it can separate from the roof. This kit provides for a much more firm mounting, and although it doesn’t strengthen the rack itself, it just about eliminates the chances of the rack separating from the roof.

Solid and needed upgrade

Overall I really like this. It took me 2 hours. Only issue was the bracket screws are not long enough, I had to remove all the gromets. Luckily I had also bought the gaskets to seal the roof mounts. For $85 this kit should come with stainless longer roof screws.

Great addition!

Installed these so I could confidently use my roof rack. Pretty solid mounting and well executed. I had to remove my headliner already for recovering so the install was pretty easy. I followed the instructions on TTS fabworks website as the included printed ones were a bit cryptic. Recommended!
