Heavy Duty 1-Inch Lift Shackles! These heavy duty shackles give one inch of lift and are constructed of thick, heavy duty steel! This shackle is a great way to give the front of your FSJ a little lift, and can help offset the sag caused by heavy bumpers or winches. Made here in the USA!
**Note: For front only.

good but be warned
I ran these for 6 years under my Grand Wagoneer and the build quality is very good and they work. Just know that they will change your steering caster quite a bit.

Q:
What is the hole to hole distance on these lift shackles? Will they work on a 1971 j4600?
Asked by:
Brian
- 5/7/2016
A:
These shackles are 2" taller than stock, to give a 1" lift. Unfortunately these will only work on 1974-later styles as the attachment points / hole diameter / width / bushings are different than earlier models.

Q:
Is there an option for a rear shackle with a one inch lift?
Asked by:
Kurt Horack
- 5/28/2016
A:
No, as the rear shackles are inverted, so any "lift shackle" will actually lower the rear end.

What are the measurements of these shackles at the frame mount? I need shackles that are a total of 3" wide bushings included.

These are the same width as the stock originals and fit into the stock mounts. If you are wanting to use these on a non-Full Size Jeep application, email

Q:
So....I can use these shackles to raise the front on one of my 1989 GWs.....what's the best way to equally raise the rear with stock springs and shocks?
Asked by:
Kevin Moore
- 9/9/2019
A:
Yes, these will raise the front. In the rear, since the shackle is inverted, the longer shackle would lower it. The only way to raise the rear would be taller springs or steel blocks (which we don't sell or recommend). The lift shackles are to help raise the front when you have a heavy front bumper / winch combo, or a heavier engine than stock, etc.
