Questions and Answers
Replace your rusted out tailgate window lifter with this brand new stainless steel replacement. Eliminate binding, bending and loose glass.
These will ship free in the USA!.
Excellent fit
These may seem expensive but if you have windows like I did on my Jeep J20 pickup that wouldn't stay in the old channel due to rust get these! Replace the rubber strip too. Its not a simple task but well worth it and the cost of these replacement parts

Q:
I have a 72 wagoneer. There's a chrome strip lining the top of the window that this piece is suppose to be screwed into. The 2 loops on the ends of this piece don't look like they take that into account. How does this attach to the older windows?

A:
Sounds like you are talking about a different piece. This channel is the one inside the tailgate, and the glass is held in by a rubber channel that secures it. Then, this channel is attached to the metal regulator assembly inside the tailgate via the two arms with posts, and clips hold it to those posts.

Q:
What is the recommended way to attach this to the window trim? The original had screws but this one does not.

A:
This channel is a stainless steel metal channel that the glass sits in. It doesn't attach to trim, only to the regulator with clips (like the original)
